Do I have to pay for my repair upfront?
No, we will ask to keep the initial insurance check you received until the repair is complete, but any deductible or out-of-pocket costs from the car owner are due at delivery. We can arrange for your insurance company to pay us directly.
Do you work on rust repair or patching?
No, although our skilled technicians are capable of rust repair, it is not a service we provide at 553.
Can I get a quote over the phone?
No, you will need to schedule an estimate appointment to bring the vehicle to our shop for a thorough review. We ask that you anticipate about an hour for the review as some can take longer depending on the damage.
I already received an estimate from my insurance company, can I still use 553 Auto Body?
Yes, you have the freedom to select any repair facility of your choice to repair your vehicle, even if your insurance company does not specifically mention our name! Once you receive the initial estimate from your insurance company, we will review their estimate and add any additional repair information through a supplemental estimate.
My vehicle needs towed, can you help?
Yes, we partner with multiple tow companies around the area and can schedule your vehicle to be towed to our facility.
I need a rental car, can you help?
Yes, we have a close working relationship with Enterprise car rental. Once you let us know you need a rental, we will arrange Enterprise to meet you at our facility when you drop your car off. You can leave the rental car with us when you pick-up your car!
